The Hybrid Experience starts with a free, no-obligation 30-minute home survey, design consultation, and quote service. We complete a detailed survey covering all aspects of your project and provide you with a copy. Within 24 hours, you'll receive a comprehensive email estimate based on our meeting.
Since the Hybrid system may be new to some architects, we’re happy to have our in-house architectural technicians adjust any existing plans to fit the Hybrid system. If you don’t already have plans, we can arrange for full building plans and permissions on your behalf.
Once you approve the architectural plans, we send them to our Hybrid supplier, who will create a detailed 3D CAD layout of the internal metal support structure. They will also provide a comprehensive SER structural report for the Hybrid.
Once the local authority issues the building warrant, we will visit your property to install the fully insulated, upgraded metal smart base. This prepares the site for the delivery of the Hybrid system and ensures it is ready for inspection by the local authority.
The Hybrid system will be delivered to your address using a vehicle suited for access. All building materials, along with the Hybrid system, will be delivered on the same day to prevent delays and ensure deadlines are met.
The internal structure of the Hybrid system, along with any structural steelwork, will be installed and completed within 2 days of the system's delivery to your site.
The Hybrid system achieves 5 times greater energy efficiency thanks to its extensive insulation. Insulation is installed on and within the metal inner frame, as well as in the roof and base, ensuring the system is ready for building inspection.
The windows, doors, and any Velux roof windows or lantern roofs will be delivered on schedule to ensure that the project remains on track and is made wind and watertight without delays.
The final stage involves completing any agreed-upon internal or external finishes. This includes installing log burners, finishing electrical and plumbing work. These steps prepare the project for the final visit and approval from the local authority building inspector.
